Claudia Soto is a chemist, cosmetic formulator and cosmetic safety assessor who specialises in cosmetic regulatory compliance for the EU and UK markets. She supports cosmetic brands across the product lifecycle, from formulation and product development to safety assessment, regulatory compliance and post-market support. Her work includes CPSRs, PIF preparation, CPNP notifications, ingredient compliance reviews, GMP and Responsible Person services.

She prepares and reviews Cosmetic Product Safety Reports under Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 for skincare, haircare and personal care products. She compiles and maintains Product Information Files, checks labelling and claims, and evaluates raw material documentation and toxicological data. She also reviews and optimises formulations, including ingredient selection, functionality and preservation strategy.

Claudia has lectured in a postgraduate programme in cosmetic science. She works in English, French and Spanish.
