Dr Rae Knight is a veterinarian with more than 20 years of experience in the animal health industry, in clinical practice, global pharmacovigilance, regulatory affairs and operational strategy. She develops and delivers training for technical and non-technical teams. As an independent consultant, she supports small and mid-sized animal health companies by strengthening pharmacovigilance systems, optimising regulatory processes and auditing for compliance. She holds a DVM from the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph.

Dr Knight has worked as EU QPPV and as a global PV manager. Her projects include building a global signal detection and trending programme, setting up a pharmacovigilance department in a country business unit, and preparing and reviewing periodic safety update reports. She has also trained global teams on adverse event guidelines and procedures.
